En route from Dublin to Germany to attend a music awards ceremony, Bono and four friends found out on the ground they lost their suitcase after a rear cargo door separated from the aircraft. Media frenzy ensues.

According to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

his private jet plummeted at least 15,000 feet to the ground

which ironically happens to all planes as the descend on approach to land.

The !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! reports that

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

The pilot's felt a rumble similar to turbulence but had no clue about the missing door until ground crews informed them. An investigation is underway which will be greatly hampered until the door is located. Radar has identified the general location and with any luck Bono with get his undies back.

Your article implies that Bono and his four "friends" share just one suitcase.

This amuses me.

It's Bono. I assume any "friends" he has, he has to pay for.

If it wasn't for those meddling kids, I'd have got him, not just his suitcase. Damnit.

Safe to say the suitcase wasn't the "tragic loss" we were all hoping for.
